Hello, I'm so glad you're here! I'm a Certified Labor Doula, Certified Postpartum Doula, Lactation Education Counselor, and IBCLC Candidate serving the San Diego community. When I created Birth With Blaise LLC in 2023, a Doula was born - my love for lactation support has blossomed ever since.

Growing up, I loved hearing my birth story before bed โ€” I still call my mom to hear it sometimes. Advocating for myself at my own OB appointments pulled me deeper into women's health, and birth podcasts and videos sealed the deal: I was captivated by how, with the right support, women were empowered toward births that felt fulfilling, sacred, and beautiful.

Unmedicated or medicated, vaginal or cesarean, first-time moms or fifth-time moms, doulas offered educational, physical, emotional, and spiritual support that helped families thrive. I knew this was my calling.

I completed birth doula training with DONA in 2023, postpartum training with DONA in 2024, and my Labor and Postpartum Doula Certification through Birth and Baby University in 2025. Before that, I spent four-plus years in childcare, focused on infant development ages 0โ€“18 months.

Since then, I've supported more than 60 San Diego families through birth and postpartum โ€” and my journey doesn't end there!

I have a deep love for supporting lactation. Through education, empowerment, and nourishment, I believe every family deserves unconditional, wholehearted support on their infant-feeding journey.

I'm an IBCLC (International Board Certified Lactation Consultant) candidate, having completed my studies at UCSD Extended Studies with over 400 contact hours working with dyads. Before that, I completed the Lactation Education Counselor course at UCSD Extension, adding 90+ hours of lactation-specific education. This foundation shapes the dedicated, tailored care I offer every family.

I also hold space for faith-based births within the Christian community, honoring the sacredness of parenthood. And as a military spouse myself, supporting military families through the transition of welcoming a new baby is close to my heart.

Serving people equally โ€” regardless of living situation, beliefs, insurance type, or identity โ€” matters deeply to me. I believe respectful, consensual, loving care is a human right, and I'm always ready to meet you where you are. My experience includes adoption support, surrogates, NICU stays, high-risk pregnancy and birth, babies with cleft lip/palate, single and solo parents, and more.

How are you supported in birth matters.
How you're held postpartum matters.
How you're empowered in parenting matters.

I'm here for it all!
